3rd baseman Manny Machado had proper elbow extensor tendon restore surgical operation Tuesday in Los Angeles and has an estimated medication pace of 4 to 6 months, the San Diego Padres introduced.

That timetable will have to have Machado again at the farmland someday all the way through spring coaching.

The surgical operation used to be carried out by way of Dr. Neal ElAttrache, the group doctor for the NL West rival Los Angeles Dodgers in addition to the NFL’s Rams.

Machado used to be restricted to designated hitter in September because of tennis elbow. He completed hitting .258 with 30 house runs and 91 RBIs.
